Gameloft Celebrates 800 per cent Increase in Revenues

gameloftGameloft Advertising Solutions, the mobile advertising network for mobile app publisher Gameloft, has seen exponential growth this year with first quarter ad sales up by over 800 per cent year-on-year.

Q1 of 2016 saw the network work with 123 advertisers globally, an increase of 250 per cent on the same period in 2015, and brought in €2.7m (£2.18m) in revenues, compared to €300,000 in Q1 2015.

Clients included sectors as diverse as entertainment, automotive and public services, and 60 per cent of advertisers were new business, demonstrating the networks efforts to reach out to new industries.

During Q1, the company introduced programmatic purchase, and this already accounts for over 20 per cent of the networks advertising revenues. The firm has also signed 10 partnerships with major SSPs and DSPs, as well as launching its own supply-side platform to increase its access to trading desks.

“Carried by the strong performance of our entry in the field of programmatic advertising, our strategic partnerships and the sales of our rich and native ad formats, Gameloft Advertising Solutions sales are nine times larger in the first quarter of 2016,” said Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Gameloft.

“Its a solid and very promising performance that shows the efficient execution of our strategy and confirms the strong potential of our advertising revenue growth for the coming months and years.”
