YouTube has revealed the top 10 most popular video ads of 2015, which were collectively watched more than 470m times over the course of the year.
Nearly two thirds of these views came from mobile, overtaking desktop for the first time.
Topping the list is the Revenge Super Bowl TV spot for Supercells Clash of Clans, from creative agency Barton F Graf – unsurprisingly, given that it was already named the second biggest video on YouTube overall.
In second place is Innocean Worldwides A Message to Space video for Hyundai, with 70m views. This video was absent from the overall top 10 YouTube previously released, which is a little strange given that the third most-popular ad – the Ad Councils Love Has No Labels, created by R/GA – took the number four spot on the overall list.
The brands rounding out the top 10 included Adidas, Always, Durex, Samsung and Budweiser.
