Roblox unveils advanced analytical tools for developers

Roblox has launched a new set of analytical tools to assist developers in optimising in-game experiences.
In a bid to enhance player engagement, the tools, named Economy and Funnel event analytics, are designed to offer developers comprehensive insights into player behaviour and spending patterns within the app.

According to a statement, the company revealed the Funnel event analytics tool is focused on player retention.
As a result, it supplies developers with data on where players drop off during crucial game stages such as onboarding and in-game shopping.
Meanwhile, the tracked events can be segmented by various demographics, including age, gender, platform, operating system and up to three custom fields defined by the developer.
Additionally, Roblox has announced that more analytical features will be available next week. These new tools will help developers measure “qualified playthrough rates” and “qualified players,” providing benchmarks for comparing performance against similar games.
