Taboola will oversee native ad placements within the Apple News and Apple Stocks apps across all available markets, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
These apps, pre-installed on every iPhone, iPad, and Mac, provide extensive reach for advertisers, the company stated.
Taboola will also manage ad placements in the main feeds and articles for selected publishers.
According to Taboola founder and CEO Adam Singolda, securing the partnership with the technology giant required a multi-year effort to meet Apple’s stringent standards
Previously, Apple had an exclusive arrangement with NBCUniversal for ad sales within Apple News and Apple Stocks in the US and UK.
While NBCU continues to sell ads in these regions, it is not an authorised reseller in Australia and Canada, allowing Taboola to expand its offering.
The news comes as late last year, Taboola launched a 30-year native advertising deal with Yahoo.
